11th January - Please pray for the Heart of England Baptist Association as they endeavour to stimulate and assist the region's Baptist churches for their God-given task of sharing the good news of Jesus Christ; and nurture values of companionship, generosity, diversity, learning and innovation.  (HEBA)

18th January - A prayer taken from the material for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, which begins today:
Lord Jesus Christ,
show us how to be patient with one another in humility and gentleness.
May the light You shine on our path lead us towards unity
and help us heal the wounds of division and indifference
that often break communities apart. Amen.

25th January - Please pray for wisdom for the members of the Core Leadership Team who meet regularly to reflect on the strategic direction of our Union, and to encourage flourishing across Baptists Together.  (BU Core Leadership Team)

4th - 10th January - Jimmy Okello - Jimmy Okello serves with BMS World Mission in Uganda, equipping leaders and churches to bring gospel-centered transformation to their communities. This week, please lift up Jimmy, his family and his work with BMS’ partner Justice Livelihoods Health (JLH) before God.

11th - 17th January - Heart for the Gospel - BMS World Mission works with partners to share the good news of Jesus Christ with those in the least evangelised contexts. Please pray with BMS as they recruit, train, send and support gospel workers to bear lasting fruit. 

18th - 24th January - Kalbassou Doubassou - Kalbassou Doubassou is a BMS World Mission worker. He has been working at Guinebor II Hospital (G2) in Chad for ten years as a nurse-surgeon and G2’s Hospital Director. Please pray for him this week.

25th - 31st January - Relief - This week BMS will be praying for people caught up in and responding to conflict and disasters. BMS World Mission and its church-based partners are deeply engaged in sharing Christ’s compassion through practical care across the world.
