Southern Counties Baptist Association (SCBA) are a family of around 145 Baptist Churches and various Pioneering Mission Projects, covering thirteen counties in total but mainly throughout Berkshire, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Hampshire, Oxfordshire and Wiltshire. The association includes Banbury in the north and the Isle of Wight in the south but also extends too Guernsey in the Channel Islands. Each church is independent and self-governing, but choose to work together in unity in the context of SCBA seeking to encourage and resource each other.

 

SCBA seeks to inspire, connect and resource its churches and their leaders by growing and forming healthy churches in relationship for God's mission.

SCBA aims to:

  • Build strong relationships

  • Grow healthy churches

  • Resource effective mission

  • Enable lifelong discipleship


SCBA is one of 13 Regional Associations that, together with local churches and colleges, makes up the Baptist Union of Great Britain.
