Working in the Surrey/Hampshire border, the position of Community and Pastoral Worker on a 12-month fixed term contract has become available. Attracting a competitive wag, this role promotes, and will help fulfil, the church's vision statement, "Together, connecting Christ, church, and community".

BMS World MIssion is looking for a skilled an experienced HR Officer to join their People and Culture (P&C) department. As part of the team, you will contribute to creating a positive, engaging and professional working environmnt, where peoplce an thrive. You will have the opportunity to help strengthen the BMS culture and uphold its core values.

As the HR Officer, you will play an important role in HR operations, providing administrative support for key HR processes spanning the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to leavers. This includes ensuring their policies and processes represent best practices, maintaining the staff handbook, and ensuring that the online HR software is used to its full potential.

Kidlington Baptist Church - Youth WorkerKBC logo


Kidlngton Baptist Church are looking for an enthusiastic Youth Worker with a genuine heart for young people to lead and develop their established youth programme both within the church family and out into local schools and the community.

KBC are an active, welcoming church with a desire to impact their community for Jesus.

This is a full-time role (part-time open to discussion) with a salary of £26,000 to £30,000 pa depending on experience and qualifications.

Waypoint Church - Children's Co-ordinatorWaypoint Church Children's Coo

Waypoint Church in Fareham are looking for a part-time Children's Co-ordinator.

The role includes:

  • Weekly oversight of the volunteer team for Waypoint KIDS, rotas, session preparation, record keeping on ChurchSuite, arranging absence cover.
  • Sunday morning co-ordination of Waypoint KIDS - set up, co-ordination of teams, meeting and greeting visitors. The church would expect the Children's Co-ordinator to be 'active' twice a month and then on 'standby' twice a month. This enables the co-ordinator to be kept involved with the Sunday services.
  • Safeguarding - safe recruitment, interviews, safeguarding reporting, liaison with the safeguarding team and attending occasional meetings/training (there is support from the safeguarding team with this element of the role).
  • Monitoring equipment and storerooms.
  • Budget planning.
  • Organising extra events such as family services (approx. termly), special occasions - Easter and Christmas, and Summer events such as a Summer Fun Day (optional).
  • Future dreams for Qaypoint KIDS might be holiday clubs, afterschool/Saturday clubs, outreach and discipleship.
This is a 12-hour a week role (this may increase in the future) with the 12 hours to be split between Sundays (8.30am-12pm)  and one day a week in the office. You would also be expected to be at staff meetings (alternate Thursdays).

As the Mission Personnel Officer, your role will involve acting as the first point of contact for ther mission enquirers, providing warm and friendly support through the application process and beyond! The role provides ongoing administrative and HR support to the Mission Personnel to enable them to thrive in the places they serve.
