Home Mission is about having a local impact.
As part of our mission grants, we are seeing communities being transformed with the Good News of Jesus. Through the giving to Home Mission, we have been able to give Mission Grants to the following projects:

Anderson Baptist Church, Reading
- Partnering with a Nepalese fellowship
- Seeking to be a community which shares the good news of God's love for all

Barton Community Church, Oxford
- Seeking to be an authentic community bringing hope to the heart of Barton through making Jesus known
- A diverse community of around 40 people who call Barton 'home' - an area of real deprivation
- Planted by Headington Baptist Church in 2010 and continuing to partner with them |
Burmese Mission Church, Oxford

Central Baptist Church, Southampton
- A small and growing Christian community in the heart of Southampton with a long legacy of worship and mission in the city centre.
- On a journey of revitalisation – working in close partnership with Testwood Baptist Church as part of a network, to slowly rebuild, reimagine what church could look like in the city, and seek God’s vision for the future. |
Freemantle Baptist Church, Southampton
- A small community of Christian believers who try to share the love of God with their local community
- A growing church made up of people from all walks of life and from different backgrounds and cultures
- Working alongside the families in the community |
Gosport Baptist Church
- Seeking to present the gospel message of love and peace through Jesus Christ to a new generation and in a new and fresh way for the 21st century
- A rich heritage of long and faithful witness in Gosport |
Leigh Park Baptist Church
- An ordinary bunch of local people trying to live and love like Jesus.
- Learning how to love and serve their Community, how to support those in need, how to comfort those who are hurting and provide a place to belong for those who feel lonely or lost. |
Ocean Church, Poole
- A pioneering venture that reimagines faith as an adventure.
- Situated along the Dorset coast, they are embracing the outdoors—paddleboarding on rivers, hiking the southwest coastal path, and swimming in the sea—to encounter the divine in nature.
- This approach offers a fresh, embodied experience of spirituality, especially for those who may feel disconnected from traditional church settings. |
Orchard Baptist Church, Bicester
- Outreaching on the rapidly-growing self-build development as a Pioneer Community Minister, and now taken over by a Children & Families Worker.
- Building relationships with residents and working with the organisations involved in the development.

Stow Baptist Church (working in partnership with Chipping Campden BC)
- Dwell - In the town relationally and alongside other Christians who live and work in Stow
- Discern – The unheard voices of this community
- Discover - Where God is at work and join in
- Develop – a viable, worshipping community at The Well building on the work of the last 5 years, including broadening the scope to weekly meetings and children and families
- Disciple – new believers and introduce people to Jesus in intentional ways such as Alpha |
