BMS World Mission - Head of Mission HR

Salary: £52,501 per annum
Hours: 35 hrs per week/full-time

Are you passionate about mission? Are you organised and a people person? Do you want to play an essential part in Christians living out their calling to serve in mission globally? Do you enjoy variety in your work, where the unexpected often happens? This might be the role for you!

BMS World Mission is looking for someone to lead the provision of high-quality HR operations and support for mission personnel, throughout the whole lifecycle. You will be responsible for the development and implementation of all BMS mission programmes enabling people to participate globally in mission, including the growth and further development of our people pool. You will contribute to creating a positive, engaging and professional working environment where their people can thrive.

As our Head of Mission HR, you will work strategically with the Director of People and Culture (P&C) to deliver their People Strategy in order to achieve their BMS strategy and organisational transformation. You will have the opportunity to help strengthen their BMS culture and uphold its core values.

Wycliffe Baptist Church - Finance Manager

The Church:
Wycliffe Baptist Church is a thriving evangelical church, engaged in ministry and witness to their community in East Reading and beyond. They are an urban, socially diverse, multi-ethnic church, serving over 300 people across four congregations. 

The Role:
  • Maintaining financial policies and procedures
  • Income and expenditure reporting
  • Banking and managing income and expenditures
  • Managing Church budgets and Gift Aid
  • Preparing annual accounts

This is a full-time (37.5 h/pw), permanent role starting in June 2025. The annual salary is £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience. If you have experience in finance/accounting and a heart for ministry, they’d love to hear from you!

Salary: £15,608 - £16,115 pa based on experience (£38,500 - £39,750 fte)

Would you like to be involved in an organisation that helps children and young people explore the Christian faith in schools across Bournemouth,
Christchurch and Poole?

Following the retirement of our current Director in August 2025, PACE are looking for someone who can work with the Trustees and local churches to develop a strategy for the organisation, lead a staff team of 10 people working in schools and fundraise to make sure that PACE can continue this vital ministry.
